weather was awful, everyone is complaining. 12:30 pm and the sun is coming out in Portland.

TT crashed in T2 in practice, he's ok, hi -sided and lo sided at the same time. Bike is back in working order. Casper smoked two cigars last night, Paula is hanging out.

Branson and Champ are chatting it up. Champ has a new in crate MT 125 that he brought to the track

Raining this am, I am going back tomorrow morning for races. Photos of the mosh pit later. Bring more wood for tonite.

Yeah, the weather pretty much sucked the entire weekend, except for the ride home.
Despite the conditions I saw some really good close racing from my homestead in turn one. Campers rule BTW. A fair amount of crashes but generally I thought the track was pretty decent with a few typical areas slick.
I had a good time mixing it up with some of the FCB guys for the first time. I was surrounded by Wankers on the first lap. Recognized Rosko zip by my by the tell-tale leathers. It's going to be a good season. Nice riding Baker! Couldn't reel you back in.
Aaron, nice job crashing and still finishing 3rd. You were ripping.
Great time. June 11th is right around the corner.

JB, the 500 ran GREAT, but I let Camelhairy pass me on the 5th lap on his stinking 175 and I never got back to him, so came in 4th as Flach blew his motor or something. BUt it was great fun.

I Came in 5th in LWSV, that MT is GREAT. It's gonna be my "primary" bike. It hooks up in the rain, and is a blast to ride in that class. I was able to follow the line we're all supposed to take. A honda took 1st, I think Strempy was 2nd, Baker was thrid, and Jeff Marcoux had just passed me and we were playing around when we got a red flag for the chick in the bowl down, i think on lap 5 or 6. I also came in 6th in middle weight production on the SR500, which for me was an awesome place.

BAKER (Jaguar) got FIRST PLACE in cb350. He was stormin. I told him he won because his bike was dry in the garages all weekend. No more camping for him.

Aaron had some good times with camelhairy, of course, and his bike seemed to be OK for the day despite whatever it was was wrong . . . maybe he spent 6 hours on the bike just wantiing us to "think" something was wrong with it . . . interesting strategy . . . . .

Wankers did good, Rosko's first racing, Casper's and TT's bikes were a little out of tune, maybe, who knows.

Rained. Rained. But we all went out . . . and some of us crashed. Mike Elliot called it a day sun am, after he crashed in practice.

Matt Camelhairy (CHEATER) is getting faster and faster . . . somehow. That turd brown bike is stupid fast. He got two first's, I think.

JB is now officially a wanker . . . but a real wanker . . . cause he didn't wanna go out in the rain . . . ooooh, I might get wet . . .. .

sorry jb had to do it.

Oh yea Baby!!!

Despite the weather conditions I had a freakin' blast. Hangin' with the Wankers was a high light of my weekend. The 2 races I entered were at the end of the day on Sunday and what a BLAST. The light weight race was cool but the Ultra Lightweight along with the 350GP was just the BALLS. I don't really know what was going on but I got by everybody and led the whole group for a few laps. My main goal was to get WAY ahead of that pesky Camelhairy team. I won my class and came in 3rd overall.

Great to see everybody and have some low key hang time. Thanks for a good time!!! Oh Yea, Latered, thanks for the cake dude!!

guys-

great to ride around with you all this weekend.

in my little world, baker, JAM (who i didn't get to meet) and sotoman rocked the CB350 purestock world. alex, after two years chasing his tail with mechanicals, had a solid bike and showed what he can do with a 3rd in FCB and some racy moves in his bumb classes (VILE, soto had you a few times in LW if he'd wanted). baker just plain looked faster with a podium in LWSV in addition to the FCB win. with rabbie building his bike for LWSV, JnotthatD gone AWOL, tex stuck at work, MikeO focused on his BSA, and tanner checked out, the grid was totally different, it should be a fun season. joe, i sucked this weekend, you would'a stomped me.

aron and VILE, thanks for the support and the rollers, once my bike is re-sorted, i gotta make some of those things.

the dillweeds cleaned house. "just one more" fred was out of control, then i find fred and parks sneakin' beer in the pits during the car races(nice dump move parker) and join them behind the stone van. champ came by the fire and layed down some heavey race philosophy....then all three went out and dominated the day sunday. when the wanker group grows up, we want to be dillweeds. the 350GP/ULSV race with champ, aron, parks, fred, phinny, and the camelhairys was a beautiful race.

rosko and his bike are rockin'...i can't wait for the double summit/nhis weekend with seth and jen and joe. VILE, are you in?

pete, hang in there, we'll get 'em next time out.

monkey so laytered me-

It was a great time even if it was raining. I don't think any of my races really went on while the rain was falling. Baker (jaguar0 PALEEZE!!! Baker(lonewolf) I need all the glory that I can get . I am still trying to recover from the bitter cup of coffee that I had from my first first place trophy six hours ago. Every one and everything made for a great weekend.Tomorrow I think I'll try my third place coffee cup,I think that the coffee is still going to be bitter. Can't wait for the next race.

It felt good dicing it up out there with Vile, Rosko, TT, Jeff (#614). Even with all the weather out of wack I gave chase and kept strong eventhough the heavy down pours. On a dry track I think I can actually have more fun! I learned a great deal out there this weekend, and felt the adrenaline flowing.

Thanks all for such a hoot.

Wankers campsite was the shiznit! Fire blazing everyone just party'n eventhough the weather sucked! I swear I heard Dance Hall Reggae during the night and remember JB jamin! Fred drank like 15 beers and wanted to burn tents. Mary Jane was lit. Paula went to bed early because she needed girth for her back (laytered). Monkey was just Mojo'n like he does.

Tristan - had a blast! He woke up this morning and said to mom -"Mom, sotomoto had his mojo". Nice.....

June 11th - All Balls out racing - in hope to god dry weather!

Pete - I feel you bro, been there but we'll sort you out.

I give the prize for race of the meet to Aaron Phinney...very impressive in the rain. Came from a good distance back to lead the race....then crash, then finish third (and moving up...with no hand grip).
I woulda crashed for sure trying to hang with the guys in front.

Had a good time. Would have liked to race but it was nice not to crash. And...like Clint says.... "A man has got to know his limitations" and I know mine in the rain.

dude I was such a PUSSY. I pretty much just idled around the track all weekend long. I had a blast rocking out,,, but screw falling and having to wrench on my crappy bikes all weekend in the rain. Branson pretty much did the right thing... If you can't have fun, why bother even going out. I suppose I just wanted to run my equipment around the track a bit.

I would say the best thing was either busting on Paula, having a cake customized for the Champ or finding out Fred Cherry puked the same morning/ night I did. So much for taking it easy.

The suckiest thing was blowing the start of the lwsv race. shit I was zipping my suit up after taking a piss... walked out of the head and saw everyone going through turn 2. WTF??? the infield is awesome but .... I think the loadspeaker is total crap. I didn't hear shit. Having your shifter fall off in the starting grid doesn't help either

screw it!!! It was fun to see everyone. Good racing dudes!!!
I surely was not racing. we will have a " Do over" in June for sure.

Welcome to the zone Aron!!!!
