Is anyone here heading up to shannonville this weekend for the VRRA event?

I'm not, but I've done that event in the past. Love that little track, flat, good visibility and I like both the short Nelson track and the long circuit. Dude lost his leg there last time I went...bunch of semi-modern vintage bikes lined up two across about 20 rows deep....guy on the third row stalls...gets punched by a guy on one of the back rows already going about 90mph by the time he reached the third row.
Anyway...cool bunch of people up there. Simple paddock layout...some grass, some pavement...very little electricity so get there early if you want to be within 200 ft of an outlet. Nice stands to watch the races from....a cool, close knit type of event. Gotta do it again sometime.

looks like vrra is using amb 160 transponders. the amb 260 transponder (that wera sanctions) will work on the vrra system. everybody should start lurking over on the wera bbs classifieds for used transponders unless you want to buy new (ouch)!
