I have some used ones I would part with.

I'll put together a package of parts for you and get them shipped monday.

You can't have any of my beautiful NOS cam bearings.

You know a clever person would figure out how to fix wrecked racing cam journals by turning them down and pressing on a hardened race/sleeve.

I just did a bit of research on needle bearings. I think I could, without too much trouble, do my own needle bearing cam conversions. The needle bearings are available with matching hardened inner races. Just a matter of turning down the cam journal, pressing on the race, boring out the cam bearing plate and pressing in the needle bearing.

Right side wouldn't be a problem because it can be supplied with oil from the end, the left side might require an oiling hole be drilled in the sheel of the needle bearing and indexing it with the oil supply hole in the bearing shell when it's pressed in.

I'd have to do a little study of oil flow to make sure that it wouldn't pass too much by the needle bearing instead of feeding the lobes. Think I'll order the parts and practice on an trashed cam.

I'm glad one of us is clever. I already owe you $40. Do you want me just to pay paypal you that plus for whatever you want for the new stuff and then a little more for the paypal interest just so you have it?

Aaron,
You can try to catch me at the next race if you want. I love coming home from the races with cash.
I'm sending the parts no charge since you are my sponsored bitch.

One of these days I gotta slow down and race with you guys...might be fun. Or go out in a practice and try to keep up with your RS.

I've got the 2" extended swingarm almost done. Just fitted it up today and extended the shocks to match.

haha. i am putting the needle bearing cam ends back in to my engine. First i have look and see how they're getting oil, and whether or not the oil supply was modified when the needle bearings were installed. I looked on the stock ones, and man, that hole is small.

I've been dreaming at night about an oil supply line to the head . . . .

If I get my head back together you want have to slow down. I plan on catching you this season atleast once. Especially since I got that crash out of the way and I'm feeling real special.

Aaron,
I took one of my choice used stock cams and polished up the lobes and journals and picked out a real nice right side bearing. I'll send them out priority on Tues (mon holiday)....is that soon enough? I guess it has to be now that I think about it.
Wasn't the left side pretty trashed too? Let me know if you need one of those..I've got lots.

I'd have to put a reverse on my bike for you to keep up.

Tuesday is cool. And reverse would help me a lot but I'd like to do it with out you using reverse. Plus I still need to get by Mary.

Where do you get spark plug ends for the pvl? Should I just get them from Penton?

Aaron,
NO! Don't get the crappy Penton caps. Get these:

http://store.yahoo.com/dratv/nonrespplcap.html

Great price, good company, I ordered 8 of them last time. They work great and are non-resistor.

Scott,
I'm sure I have a spare right side round cover. Put me on your list if you ever find another though cause since Aaron clued me in that only sloper oil covers fit slopers I don't have as many as I'd like.
I'll get one in the mail to you on Tues.

We have to get together and come up with a solution for crankcase damage. Matt Tanner figures we can epoxy on chunks of aluminum to the lower edge of the cases....might work. Would be nice to come up with some heavy duty covers...left side would be no problem,it's a simple cover, right side would be more diffcult. If not for belly pans we could use some neat sliders mounted to the bolt holes that held the stock foot peg mounts.

I'm a keeping my eye out for em now, JB. I had another, which I may be forced to use, if you do not have one for me, but it is damaged and I'd have to JB weld it on. If you do send me one, there will be a special package on its way back to you . . . But it won't be smokes!!
