Wow...that's a lot lighter than I thought.
Hirko must be on drugs or something....well of course he is after his crash..but I mean other drugs.

You know factory specs on a 71 CB350 say wet weight is 170.0 kg (374.8 pounds)....so you've taken close to a 100 lbs off your bike...? That's a lot.

That means I'm even better than I thought....when I outrun a 350...I thought it was because they were so heavy and I had close to the same power to weight....when in reality it's because I'm pretty much another Rossi.

100 lbs? That is a lot. But when you add up fenders, bars, electronics, kick start mechanism in the engine, panels, enclosures, that damn heavy exhaust, metal seat tray, heavier shocks, its gotta add up. But 100 lbs? I doubt it. And I measured it with a half tank of gas.

Scott, usually the first 40-50 lbs comes off easy. Still talking 80 lbs heavier than a 175 so that sounds within reason. Engine is probably 40 lbs of that.

But if your bathroom scale says you weigh 150 lbs then maybe it's off a little bit :)
