I'm looking to replace my "breaks" on my cb 350 Aaron told me what I should be shopping for but I forgot (yes I'm drinking again) and I wouldn't know where to find them... Anyone have some euro or USA places where I could find some beeyatchen drum breaks (for less than 3k)?

Thanks

JD,
If you have a stock 350 brake on it now the next logical step would be a 305/450 200mm DLS. Preferrably with some racing linings.

Next step after that would be a T500 (if you trust them), XS650 or Kawi H1.

After that it's to the 220mm brakes like the Suzuki GT750 or some expensive aftermarket brake.

Course if I had the money I'd go for what Zack suggests.

JD,

I may be parting with my set up water buffalo brake. Vintage Brake did the work on it. Stainless spokes and aluminum rim from Buchannans. I'd even leave the Avon tire with four laps at Daytona on it for the right price. Whole set-up. Cables and brake lever included. What'll you give me for it? I won't go cheap.

j not that,

craig's got what you want. just think, with a brake like that you go go deeper and hotter into corners.

that's what we all want to see, is you going deeper and hotter into corners. i personally think you brake way too early.

;)

I'd run a 305/450 200mm DLS especially for a Formula CB bike. He ran great with no brake, so why add the extra weight when you can get great stopping power out a lighter brake for such a slug of a bike? I think the 4LS breaks are great but kind of an over kill for less then 30hp.
