after a tank slapper today on a ride i've decided i need a steering damper. i have a stock geometry 74' cb750k and i'm wondering what length should i buy. i can make and weld any frame bracket i need. theres a hole in the lower treee that looks like a good place to mount it.

some people are like slinkies, basically useless but they still make me smile when i push them down the stairs

I got the standard black one that everyone uses and it has the perfect stroke for the CB500t front end I'm using.

When making the frame-side bracket, try to keep the damper as close to parallel with the steering axis/frame tubes as you can since any angle will make the damping change slightly at either end of the travel.
