Well some of you already know that I purchased a CB200T and sooner or later Im going to have to replace this tank. The exterior is almost brand new but for some reason the inside was puttied up like crap by the previous owner. Its a mess in there so I want to replace it but it seems like I dont have a lot of options. Cant get a new one from the dealer and it doesnt seem like there are any NOS laying around. I would love to drop a Manx tank on it but Ive been looking around and I doubt I can do that without a lot of modifying.

So, anyone have any ideas?

Call clancy at Clancy's cycle shop in Gretna, Louisiana. I was there last week and saw he had a really good condition tank on the shelf for a cb200T (if he wants to know where it is tell him it is upstairs, to the left on the back shelf next to the cb175 tanks, if he wants to know how you know this tell him Kerry told ya). Clancy is a good old boy so talking with him on the phone is a little tough.

Sounds like the PO Kreemed the inside of your tank. If it is solid and not throwing off any chunks leave it alone, if it is then it is breaking down and must be pulled out. You can have a radiator shop boil out the tank and put a new liner in (try radiator service in Port Washington, I used to work for them) or have it sand blasted and put a new liner in (try Red Kote).
