Friday; Put my KDX together, hadn't been ridden since the flood. Nephew took it. As of ten o'clock last nite it was still running. YAY!


Saturday's theme was "Cars with Blowers"
They sold the Kompressor I wanted to drive didn't get to start with that. Beat it down to Eddyville to watch 20 fuel altereds qualify for a 16 car field.

Legendary;

Double f!!!cking legendary and currently wheeled by a dude from Iowa;

Near lane car lost in the finals. He gets honorable mention because two years ago at this race in the last qualifying session he hit the wall at about 300 feet. Came off the fence, got back in it, went throught the lights 145 with the left front layed down.

Honorable mention #2; Blown Impala that does nice wheelies. Dont't see that everyday.

I went to the bike show and swap meet in Seymour Wi...being I only live about 30 miles away. Admission was six bucks and food wasn't too expensive. I thought it had a pretty decent showing. I wish I had some cash cause there were some nice project bikes for cheap. Not to mention the section of for sale bikes had some cool rides. I only picked up a pair of cocktail shaker mufflers for ten bucks and a haggered rusty cb550 tank for ten bucks that I needed the latch for my good tank. It's still going on if any locals want to check it out. Next year I'll be going back with some real cash and an angry wife afterwards. lol. She was a champ though and stuck it out as I did like five laps around the swap meet in like the temp was like high 80's. What a slugger and good wife.

rode up to see some pocket bikes and minis race at the local cart track. thought it was all weekend since i couldnt get anyone on the phone. bikes only run saturdays. carts all day sunday. small fields, and kinda lame races. 13hp alky gocarts. most of them have like 16yo kids running them. wtf?
