hey all, my roomate has a 75 honda 350 scrambler, and i know of a guy that has a 76 honda xl 350 that could pick up cheap, i guess what i am getting at is how much of the mechanicals are interchangeable between the 2 bikes???

Do you know the prefix for the '75 350? The 76 XL 350 is a single cylinder bike. If the 75 is a CB,CL or SL it is a twin. I am not sure the last year they made the CL350 twin.

um honestly i think it is a cb but not entirly sure, havnt seen the bike mutch and there is no badging on it, but it is a twin cylinder though

A cb 350 would be a twin cylinder, low pipes. A CL 350 twin would have high pipes on the left side.

Either way, I don't think anything except maybe the brake and clutch levers would interchange with the XL--a whole different genre of bike.
