I am rebuilding my carbs from an '82 Honda Nighthawk and I can't seem to figure out where to get a carb rebuild kit... From the image I think they are Keihin VB-22G carbs. Anyone got a idea of where to find the kit?

Thanks

You didn't say you had a 450, so how was I to know. You can still get you kit there. I know a lot of people bitch about buying on Ebay. I have been dealing there for years and all the large companies products can be found there for good deals. The places you go to to buy parts are probably dealing them on Ebay also and for less money than if you walked in their store.

also:

1. your friendly honda dealer can get you a ton of stuff you might think is not anymore available, for example (these are in cali but ship and the service is good - prices too):
California Motorcycle ATV Dealer - Honda Kawasaki of Santa Monica - KTM Power Equipment Scooter Watercraft Generator

2. Rebuild kits (on ebay and elsewhere non honda) are often questionable. many have wrong jets or just otherwise only half the parts fit. Good news is most things inside carbs don't really wear. So teh typical things you want to change are the o-rings that seal float bowl (so they don't leak) , needle / needle valve depending. Potentially other seals or o-rings. Most other things you can just clean.

-others can and maybe will add to my list of recommended replaceables. But often you can clean a carb without replacing anything.

That's usually true that you can reuse most parts except if your carb has an air cut off or accelerator diaphragms. Those always seem to turn into rock solid little pucks.
