What is the reason for dual front disks? Does a single disk make the bike pull when engaged? Or, is there not enough stopping power in one disk? Redundancy? Looks?

Sometimes stopping is more important than going.

i have always heard about torquing to one side issues. but i never believed it. but then again, i dont really have a bike that has dual disks.
