So...I was sitting at my computer when an email pops up from Gustafsson Windscreens....the 3 Bultaco TSS125/250 (common small bike race fairing) I ordered are on the way. Hmmm....I ordered those two years ago....paid for them...got them. A moment later another email pops up....UPS tracking data for the package....looks like it will be here within a few days. Reciept that came with email shows them Paid by Paypal (which I did two years ago) on 4/12/05. Checked my Paypal account...found the original charge...no new charges.

Looks like I might be in for 3 new and free windscreens. I even know where I can sell them....BFD uses a Bulto Fairing...George DeCamp uses a Bulto fairing.
I do plan on calling them tomorrow to check this out...but I'm not going to ship them back...those suckers have gouged me for tons of money over the years. They want them back...they can send me a check or paypal in advance for shipping and for my time.

Or should I say nothing and just keep them....I mean I do have an reciept that says they are paid for.

Just checked the UPS tracking.....yes they are on the way.

I was thinking about it...and you know what...I don't ever remember getting them the first time. I ordered a bunch of stuff for George DeCamp and Hiroshi, half dozen tires and a bunch of other stuff...I really don't remember if I ever got the screens or not.
I'll have to look through my paper work and see if I have anything.

You'd think they would notice that the order is 2 years old though. I mean the receipt included with the email has is two years old.

Some low life probably read my post and called them. Huge Karma demerits are in order.

if you received the wind screens and had kept them without letting mr.g know, we would know for sure you run a cheater bike. now we are only left wondering. sounds to me like you would have done the right thing anyway. i would have offered to buy one/send $ to gustafson because i cracked mine tipping over in the paddock last year (duh). i'm sure we could have found homes for the other two at a special rate from gustafson as he probabley would rather have them sold and delivered than returned. at this point, you still have to have the moral high ground to protest an old guy with a square tubed swing arm...that camel special was great to see last monday. can't wait to see the fruits of your winter's toiling.

Nothing new for me this year except a new set of headers with a smaller ID...should be good for 1/2 a horse or so. Maybe a decent boost in mid range.
Later this year I hope to have the programmable PVL installed. That should help mid range considerably.

I think Mr. G. screws people terribly...high prices for a piece of very brittle plastic. His stuff breaks easier than anything else I've seen. But then no one is forcing a person to buy it either.

One reason I don't run a fairing any more is I got tired of sending him stupid money for a replacement. I had one crack when I grazed it with my hand on the starting grid. I'd rather have the thinner, more flexible, easier to scratch type. Some day I'll build a form and make them in my own oven.
