well i just spent too many hours getting my car out of the driveway.....there is four inches of ice on the drive way and the front tyres were in holes perfect for sliding.....i even jacked it up and put wood under them and that didn't work....i hate sloping driveways and winter glad it is almost over.....

Im going to side with Chikor or this one. THis winter just plain bites. AT 34 I am starting to see the light, think that moving south isnt such a bad idea.

well i have been in Hawai'i on and off for 8 years and would not be here this winter if not for a pregnant wife...well not the pregnancy but the fact that she is working on degree number two and we are as close to mount holyoke as is necessary......things will be better in my new house i can't wait....

the only place south worth really moving to in my opinion would be a place like arizona, utah, or new mexico. the down side is no ocean to swim in. the east side has way too much humidity and bugs. at least in the desert there are only snakes, lizards and an occasional scorpion. either that or palm springs or sandiego area. i personally dont like the weird constant morning light they have out there. it seems like it's always morning i think because of the sun setting over the ocean as opposed to rising over it. LA is too dirty, and sf has too much crappy weather. although the summers are nice and the mission kicks ass. that and westies dont have that damned pig farmer accent. id actually still rather live in boston than where i live now. at least there was a bar within walking distance.

Wnet out bar hopping a couple of weeks ago in Boston. Great time, ended up in the comedy conn. NO place that i would ride my vfr though. Actually a good friend of mine is a cop dowtown. He has a zx-11 that he just doesnt get to because the riding sucks so bad there. But still great bars though.

yeah, the city is pretty torn up now. youre better off staying away from anyplace that is related to the dig. although i will say having an xl 500 or 650 or an old xt is just about the perfect bike for around there. even a dr400 would be fun, although a little on the lightweight side. definitely not a place for a zx. one day they'll be done with the disaster, and we'll have a park to turf late at night.

when i lived in southie, it was so easy to pull up to your favorite bar, double park your car, head in for a few beers, then drive out to the next one and do the same thing. now from what i hear, you cant even double park anymore. whats this world comming to?

Im not sure, You see im from maine. And were not sure what double park means. I just sold a XR650l that I put about 4000 miles on last yr. Thing would probably rule in boston. But in the hills of the NH mountains she was a sorry site indeed. My father used to make real minced meat out of me with his 850 suzuki.

what a great bike. nice big dual purpose thumper. kick ass. they are getting really hard to find now. i used to ride one in boston on occasion. it belonged to a close friend and we used to have alot of fun on it.

i remember he and mikeo trying to get me to jump my bonneville off of this about 2' high wall. mike did it on his r100 bimmer and phil was doing it on his xr500l. i thought better of doing it on my bonneville.

i actually got my mass rode bike license on it. boy did i get looks from the cop when i pulled up to take the test on it.
