hello, I know some of you have a few engines laying around. Anyone have a crank holder bracket for a cb350? Aluminum bracket with 4 bolt holes that bolts the crank to the case. Would really appreciate it if you do. Thanks a million

Yeah thats it. Couldn't remember the name of it so I looked it up in the parts list and Honda just called it a holder. Mine took a beating when the cam chain let go and it got a small crack in it. Dunno if it is really something to worry about since it is not in a critical place, but I really hate putting bad parts in a fresh rebuild.

that is a crucial part im pretty sure. since it holds the crank in place. those cases are all line bored, so you cant even mix and match case parts. that bearing cap is probably machined to match the cases, and the crank journal. i could be wrong about that, and i wouldnt use something from another motor there without double checking if youre not sure. branson might have a good opinion on this.

just dont want to see you do a motor to have the crank thrashing around inside there.

Well the damn chain really didn't crack it, more like it took a small chunk out of the center area in the chain groove towards the outside where it doesn't contact anything.
