Hi, has anyone buildt a racer from one of these bikes?
And if so, pictures etc from rear frame/loop

Thanks
Wrong forum, yes the R1 is a racing motorcycle but that has zero to do with frame loops and now people are going to fill your thread with R1 race bikes.

Would this by chance be your first ever motorcycle?

Wrong forum?
Im asking if anyone has used one of these bikes as a base. Also maybe a early 90s gsxr 1100.
Looking for next project.

Currently i have a honda vt 750 turbo, why?
Because believe it or not some guys come here asking similar questions and don't even know how to ride a motorcycle yet.
Regulars here are racers and wrenches, think function over form, not form over function.
seat loop? does it make your bike faster or handle better? that sort of thing is likely to transpire,
and welcome to whats left of caferacer.net (y)

I see. New bikes are expensive, old bikes are cheap, old bikes can go fast as well :) i just dont want to look like i came from the 80s or 90s when driving around. Also its fun doing bikes not everbody else has done, like a cb,

It's every bit as expensive to ride a vintage motorcycle in amateur competition as it is to walk out and buy a new motorcycle. To bob and chop any motorcycle is not really an accomplishment in anything other then an art project.
Are you building a race bike or an art project :/ art project, wrong forum, fix shit and make it go better (y) right forum.

It's not just Trials opinion. Hipster choppers are not a popular topic here. Improving the function, building up a track bike, restoring. Almost anything but taking an angle grinder to a frame or putting on parts to make a fashion statement is fair game.

Looking for next turbo project, the honda i converted to efi and turbo. space is always a big topic. And the rear end of the bike has alot to say in that matter. I love my angle grinder, mill, lathe, welder AND my kids. If you dont care about how youre ride looks like thats not my problem. But ill look for frame photos somewhere else ??? Excuse me
