Still in the middle of the "easy" part...getting the tank where I like the way it looks without putting the seat WAY too high is being a chore. I've de-raked the frame on this one, who backbone is being redone to accommodate that tank (I wanted to use that tank on the last one but it simply wouldn't fit the factory backbone). Going to be fun.

whoops it seems I left this thread off my update list...I'm not sure how. I've gone a slightly different direction with the bike and after only two years I've finally gotten around to mocking up the exhaust lol I had a lot of free time when I started this thing but not much over the last 18 months. At this rate I'll be able to ride it in March of 2029.

The cans will be a touch higher and closer together once done, there's a little slack since they're currently unsupported.

I have against the bare frame just compressing the front and there's LOTS of clearance...but have not with the exhaust. It "should" be fine...the bike is super skinny so it hardly off centerline at all and is only about an inch under the bottom rail. It might get close if I've got the suspension fully compressed and I'm laid all the way over to the right but I think it'll clear even under extremes. I'll have to go and measure max lean angles and see.

Pull the springs and see where the bike sits with only the shocks, now lean the bike to see what your corner clearance truly is. Anything that touches down is going to make sparks, grind off or cause a crash.
