I've seen a few already with the clown shoes on them and some obvious catering to the hip crowd but damn. I saw a couple of pic's in cycle canada and they look the buisness. Wadaya think?

It's a great looking bike, and I'm sure it's a blast to ride, but... I've seen a lot of people stripping down a sport bike and throwing a new seat on it trying to cater to the Cafe crowd, I'm not sure how I feel about this. Sportbikes are a lot of fun to ride, and even more fun to watch...idiots being stupid on them. I know that might be cold, but every time I see one of those punk kids riding around in shorts and flip flops on a bike designed to go very fast, I just shake my head and feel sorry for their family that will have to deal with the sorrow when they eventually kill themselves on their bike. To me it's people like that that give riders a bad image. But in fairness the highest motorcycle mortality rate is among middle aged men who have a mid life crisis and go buy the biggest "hog" they can afford, either not knowing how to ride at all or not having the skill to ride such a big bike. I think I may have gotten a little off topic here...

You just can't go wrong with classic paint schemes. It looks to be a real nice package with the fuel injection. Also....did you see the accessories available from yamaha? It will set you back around a grand for some carbon fiber side covers, seat cowl, radiator guard and the like but it adds a nice custom touch.

Went to see one in Ottawa on the week end. It's a nice bit of kit but I think it's the vintage paint that drew me in. Looked at it in another colour and it just didn't have the same wow factor. I know it's just paint but there ya go.
